A Few Words About Me
Scarlett joins our practice from Florida. Scarlett began her studies at the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During her time at UF she was a member of the Florida Cicerones, official campus ambassadors. She later studied at the University of North Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
She has spent most of her nursing career at a Magnet Certified and Teaching hospital, before turning the page to private practice and concierge medicine. She completed her Residency Program at Baptist Medical Center – Jacksonville, where she worked in High Risk Labor and Delivery. Scarlett still holds a special space in her heart for the multitude of infants she helped bring into this world or resuscitated to take their first few breaths. She later completed a Fellowship Program at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, specializing in Level-1 Emergency Trauma. During her time caring for patients in the Emergency Department she received her Trauma Nursing TNCC certification as well as FEMA certification for Hospital Emergency Response. She also functioned as a Charge Nurse & as a Nurse Preceptor.
Scarlett also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation.Scarlett is also Director of Nursing of Nourish IV, our mobile IV infusion division. She strives to continue direct patient care by sharing time between administrative duties and caring for patients as our head infusion nurse.
Scarlett dedicated many years as a mentor in Take Stock in Children, an organization she remains connected with. She loves the outdoors and spends her free time Hiking, biking, or near the beach.
